Powerfy attends Midsummer AB's inauguration of Sweden's first factory for solar cell production in Järfälla north of Stockholm. Powerfy's CEO Johan Beckmann holds a key note speach as Midsummer AB's first customer.

Powerfy starts field tests of our newest product, a solar-powered charger for mobile phones. The field tests are conducted in five villages in Masai Mara, Kenya.

August, 2010

Powerfy visits Bangladesh, one of the largest markets in developing countries for solar energy micro production. Powerfy meets with companies, organizations and institutions involved in the solar industry. CEO Johan Beckmann holds a private meeting with Mr Abul Kalam Azad, secretary of Power Division, Governement of Bangladesh.

Powerfy attends the Globe Forum 2010 conference in Stockholm, Sweden. At this conference SIDA (Swedish International Development co-operation Agency) launches its new programs Business for Development (B4D) and Innovations Against Poverty.

Powerfy meets with Mr Dipal Chandra Barua, Founder & Chairman, Bright Green Energy Foundation. Mr Barua is one of the most important people behind the evolution of the market for Solar Home Systems in Bangladesh as Founding Managing Director of Grameen Shakti and Co-Founder & Former Deputy Managing Director of Grameen Bank.
